Firefox

I did use Firefox a few years ago but for some reason went back to IE and Firefox has certainly moved on over the years, so it's good to have a chance to explore it further.  As I have a good friend who is Welsh, and it's almost St David's Day, I decided to opt for the Daffodils persona but there are so many others to choose from.  I think I've imported my IE bookmarks into Firefox and have looked at a few of the add-ons but am sure there are many ways of filling my time just finding out what's available.  Comparing the two browsers is something which will have to wait a while but at least I've made a start.

Doodling

Well, I'm finally making up for lost time, though I'm very grateful to have some clear instructions to follow - even then, my progress is very slow and tentative.  I've now set up a Doodle meeting and managed to add Doodle to my iGoogle page, which is beginning to look quite good (though I'm sure it's nothing compared with the pages of most experts).  I should now be able to keep track of responses to my meeting call but will have to wait until tomorrow to see how that turns out.  If it's successful, I can see that I might well use Doodle again

Back in the programme

Having not made time for 23 Things for a while, I've decided to have another go.  I've set up my iGoogle page and looked at various gadgets; the Hamster soon became an ex-hamster but the inspirational quotations and recipes are a good way to end the week.  I've also explored RSS feeds a bit more and am slowly discovering how to set them up on Google Reader.  There's a lot more that I could be doing but at least I've made a start and am now looking forward to the next Things.
